will focus on inspiring, equipping and encouraging parishes and Catholic communities to engage in Evangelisation and Renewal. This is a wonderful opportunity for priests, deacons, chaplains, pastoral ministers, parish teams, parish pastoral councillors and all parishioners to explore new ways of contemplating the face of Christ in community and so empower them to set out on the new paths of mission which the Holy Spirit is tracing for us at this crucial time (Archbishop Mark Coleridge, Archbishop of Brisbane)
When and Where: 12-14 July, 2018,
at The Edmund Rice Performing Arts Centre (St Laurence’s College, South Brisbane).

Part of the Archdiocesan Safeguarding Policy stipulates that all church workers (clergy, religious, employees and volunteers) undertake safeguarding training every two year. This applies to all parishes, ministries, ethic/faith communities and services. A Parish Volunteer Requirement Matrix has been updated since the Royal Commission and the Stanley River Parish Pastoral Council is helping to implement the recommendations. There are a number of requirements that, on the surface, appear onerous but they have been carefully reviewed to ensure that all parishioners are protected. Training in the ministry activities (readers and Extraordinary Min-isters of Holy Communion) will take place in the new future.
If you would like to volunteer for any activity in the Parish, please complete a volunteer kit (to be handed out on Sunday 3rd June at Kilcoy and Sunday 10th June at Woodford) or let us know via email : Stanley@bne.catholic.net.au for registration.
