Kilcoy church - St Michael's
The centenary celebrations are being held on Sunday 10 April 2011 wqith Archbishop Bathersby being the principal celebrant.
Masses were held in Kilcoy from late in the 19th century and the second dedication of St Michael's (in its current building) was in 1911 - there is a group of parishioners researching the last 100 years and if you have any photos, letters, stories or other memorabilia, please let us know. A booklet is being developed and currently in final edit stage. There will be a re-dedication, mass and celebration at the church grounds on Sunday 10 April 2011. ALL ARE WELCOME.
Invitations are being designed and will be circulated throughout the Archdiocese, the state and interstate. We are collecting information on the history of the church and the surrounds for the booklet - anyone who has anything to contribute, please contact Julie-Anne Mee, Parish Secretary on
