The Stanley River Community has engaged in a number of ecumenical activities including

• * an agreement in the cooperative religious education in state schools in the area;
  * ecumenical chaplaincy committee;
  * a covenant agreement between the Anglican, Catholic, Lutheran and Uniting Churches  (anniversary celebration in June each year);
  * World Day of Prayer (first Friday of March each year);
• * a service celebrating the beginning of Advent (held on the Friday prior to the first Sunday in Advent each year)
  * Social activities such as Christmas Carols in the "Shed" in Woodford and in Yowie Park at Kilcoy
  * Austalia Day celebration
