St Mary's Church, Woodford
The current church (St Mary’s) dates from around mid 1936 when the school building was modified to include a church. The first church on the site was the St Jospeh’s Convent and Church (now presbytery) opened on 10 February 1930 as part of St Peter’s Caboolture. Being a part of St Peter’s continued until March 1952. The St Mary’s church celebrated the 70 year anniversary of the first church on this site in 2000 and the 80 year anniversary of the church building on 10 October 2010.
In 2010, a parish Mass with the principal celebrant being Bishop Joseph Ouderman was held to celebrate the 80th year anniversary of the church. With the impending rain, a parish gathering was held in the hall.
